Humanities Nebraska
FUNDING PRIORITIES: Because Humanities Nebraska (HN) exists to help people explore what connects us and makes us human, we offer grants to nonprofit organizations and government entities to support projects related to the public humanities. Humanities must be central to the portion of the applicant’s project HN is being asked to fund, and the program must encourage interaction, thought, and discussion over ideas, topics, and questions. At least one humanities subject expert must be involved in the project. Special consideration may be given to projects that reach across Nebraska or that target underserved audiences (due to geography or socioeconomic status).

The better we all know each other, the better we work together.Cause Collective facilitate partnerships, collaborates with its members and is a central information sharing center for nonprofits in Lincoln.

EDUCATION

By providing nonprofits individual and group trainings throughout the year they become better and more efficient at running their business, and in turn their services to the community improve.

ADVOCACY

One of the most important things a nonprofit can do to help those they serve is advocate for them. We help nonprofits understand how to advocate and lobby to improve public policy, making a more supportive and stronger community.
